I’m having one of those incredibly rare weeks of Nice Things Happening, all the more precious after what feels like a year of nearmisses, disappointments, and tough times.
This was definitely a Very Nice Thing: the arrival of my copies of The Boy Who Could See Demons.
One of the surprising things I learned when I was first published is how little involvement an author has in the book’s physical production, and just how important it is.
By this I mean the books design…how the text looks on the page and the feel of the pages…
